Aladine Vargas is a designer, an illustrator and a mad scientist of WordPress websites!
His story begins at the age of five when young Aladine produced his first attention-grabbing drawing. After that he was hooked. Nothing could stop him. He soon developed the skills he needed to win the first of nearly a hundred art contests. At nine, he added to his forte the exploration into the world of computer programming using his family’s Apple GS2. It was then that Aladine realized he would eventually marry his mad art skills with his keen knack for speaking the vast language of computer code. Of course he had no idea at the time what that was going to look like. He simply knew it would happen. When he was twelve, Aladine met a professional freelance vinyl recorder album cover illustrator (say that five times fast) and his family. He decided then to pursue a career where he like the illustrator could work form home creating wonderful things while being close to those he loved.
Fast forward to the year 2000: Aladine graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Illustration and ready to work!
It was during his first year in university that he discovered yet another piece of the “what will I be” puzzle, the Internet. It turns out that was the last piece he needed. It all started to make sense; art, computers, working from home, and now, the internet. Becoming a freelance website designer was the needle that threaded all those random opportunities together, the perfect marriage, a complete puzzle.
Over the next 12 years, freelance designing would lead a now older and more mature Aladine on a journey that brought him to the Caribbean Islands for three wonderous years and allowed him to work with clients in places like California, Georgia, New York, and even France.
Aladine loves fleshing out the visual combination of colors and values, lines and text, messages and graphic elements in order to communicate in the purest way possible the clear and creative ideas to his clients.
Although, all of this, might describe what he does. It doesn’t necessarily capture who he is. If you want to know that, you’ll just have to ask his beautiful wife, Evelyn, and two outrageously awesome kids, Sophia and Solomon who presently reside in Reading, PA. For they are the reason why he does what he does. Aladine, of course, feels completely blessed to be able to provide for his family while pursuing his passions.
